By 1700 Americans were dressing fashionably, and the distinctions between colonists of one nation and another were no longer very noticeable. During the Colonial period, a women's everyday dress was a full-length gown made of durable material often adorned with a personal touch. Most of the early colonists made their clothing but tending to follow European fashion. In winter periods, women tended to layer with heavier undergarments and covering their shoulders with a wrap or Shawl to stay warm.
Base Costume: Colonial Day dress is a full-length lace-trimmed gown with attached side panniers, contrasting Shawl, and matching Mob Cap.

Please, refer to the size chart. The size chart is located as a photo in the listing, and the directions to measure are located on the size chart. We have made the size chart strictly on the costumes we have manufactured.
If you are unsure of your measurements, please measure your favorite NON-STRETCH comparable garment.

When will the item I want be back in stock?
