When the 1700s began, so did the Enlightenment and the Classical Baroque period. Clothing changed from the Renaissance to the Baroque style of fashion, which was defined by excess and luxury. Everything began to be more adaptable, and for the first time, people of any status or class could mix and match clothing. Men began to adopt more dramatic and fashion-forward attire. Gone were the restrained styles of the Renaissance. In their place, Baroque men donned elaborate frock coats, high-waisted pants, wide lace collars, lace shirt cuffs, with accessories becoming much more fashionable.
This men’s Baroque/Rococo frock coat is authentic to the men’s attire of the 18th and 19th centuries in Europe. It features decorative braided trim decoration and two non-working pockets on the exterior to accentuate the style and the classic Baroque look.

What size should I order?
Please, refer to the size chart. The size chart is located as a photo in the listing, and the directions to measure are located on the size chart. We have made the size chart strictly on the costumes we have manufactured.
If you are unsure of your measurements, please measure your favorite NON-STRETCH comparable garment.
*We have many different styles of medieval wear, all with their unique fit and size charts.
When will the item I want be back in stock?
If you go to the listing: select the size and color you want, then click on the "let me know when it is back" button. ETSY will send you a message/email when we have restocked the item.
