Often represented as quick and youthful, Hermes was believed to guide departed souls to the underworld. His name translates to 'boundary marker,' many boundary markers in ancient Athens, typically stone piles, were adorned with a bust of Hermes.

The hat was broken - the wings did not stay on the hat. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent new wings. That was good service. I just went to get the costume ready for my son and realized that the sword holder was ripped and had white mold on it. Not good quality to have to defective issues.
