⭐ Base Costume:
1. Boy’s Colonial Brown Frock Coat: A historically accurate replica of the type of coat worn by men during the colonial period in America. Constructed using high-quality polyester gaberdine fabric and fully lined with a poly/cotton broadcloth for added comfort and durability. The coat is specifically designed to be worn open and is intended to be worn with a waistcoat underneath. The coat features decorative gold buttons.

2. Brown backless waistcoat: This long vest just above the knee is made of a gaberdine fabric and is designed to be worn under the jacket. It has an attached lace dickey (jabot) at the neckline with gold buttons and is secured in the back with Velcro and laces.

3. Brown colonial breeches: Made of gaberdine fabric, these breeches feature an elastic waistband with elastic at the bottom of the pant leg for a comfortable fit and length adjustment. They are designed to be worn under the colonial jacket and vest and typically extend to just below the knee.

It is made of a durable fabric and features white trim around the edges. The hat has a wide brim that can be worn up or down, depending on the wearer's preference. We include a foam hat spacer for size adjustment.

Please, refer to the size chart. The size chart is located as a photo in the listing, and the directions to measure are located on the size chart. We have made the size chart strictly on the costumes we have manufactured.

If you are unsure of your measurements, please measure your favorite NON-STRETCH comparable garment.

The short version is this: If you're in need of a costume like this, this is the one you need to get. Longer version: My son was participating in a living museum school project and of course he picked a historical figure that was very difficult to find a costume for. I was running out of time and I found this costume. Unable to find a respectable costume, I looked on Etsy. The costume arrived two days before the event, but that was entirely my fault due to the last minute order. The only down side is the cost, but considering the lack of Ben Franklin costumes out there and the incredible quality of the costume, I honestly can't complain about the price. The material looks great and it's pretty durable so my son will be Ben Franklin for Halloween, and then it will be a hand me down for my younger son.

This is a great costume. My daughter had to dress up as Benjamin Franklin for a 5th grade project. She loved it!

The sizing was perfect. Outstanding quality!
