A political writer and propagandist throughout the American Revolution, Mercy Otis Warren dove into the topics reserved only for men: war, rebellion, politics, government. Warren was more educated than most women of the 1700s, and even better educated than some colonial men. In the years leading up to the outbreak of the revolution, Mercy Otis Warren urged her fellow colonists to rebel against the British, to fight back against the crown’s attacks on their rights and liberties. She participated in the debate over the U.S. Constitution, publishing pamphlets under the pseudonym “A Columbian Patriot.” Warren published poems and plays under her own name, and in 1805 published one of the first histories of the American Revolution.

What size should I order?
