This authentically detailed replica is the uniform worn by British soldiers and officers during the American Revolutionary War. Soldiers of the British army were often referred to as “red coats” or “lobster backs” by the American soldiers--so named for the distinctive, bright scarlet color of their uniform coats. The British army was the polar opposite of the American Continental Army in size and style of warfare as well as general spirit and motivation.

Base Costume (3 PCS) includes A British Red Coat with adjustable Tail, a Backless Vest with Attached Lace Jabot, and Elastic Waist Colonial Breeches.

What size should I order?

Please, refer to the size chart. The size chart is located as a photo in the listing, and the directions to measure are located on the size chart. We have made the size chart strictly on the costumes we have manufactured.

Quality is amazing!

The item arrived on time and in perfect condition, my son loved it! The powder horn was not included in my shipment, but after I contacted the shop they sent it out immediately. I can't say enough about the fabric, it holds up beautifully, does not wrinkle, and stains came out easily(have washed it three times so far, due to muddy weather!). Thank you for such a wonderful costume!
