From the American Revolutionary War to the Golden Age of Piracy to the French Revolution, this dress represents the height of fashion for European women of the early to the mid-modern period of history.
Our girl's colonial dress is a two-piece garment made from high-quality satin brocade fabric in rich royal blue and dazzling white. Bodice zips in the back and features contrasting panels with white lace trim along with the front panel, neckline, and bell sleeves. The skirt is elastic at the waist with button closure in the back and features adjustable side panniers with white lace trim accents. What makes this a true colonial dress is the addition of the Colonial Mob Cap, a simple yet necessary component for any proper colonial women of the time.
